#1
Hi everyone.

well seems i have been missing out on a great day not far from me.
at TEMORA.

Aishow and they do it well.

each time they do it differnet planes fly.say 10 or 12 planes flew today and apparently it was a slow day.planes drop in from all over au..on different show dates.

next one is sept 5&6.

i found it fantastic.the souvenirs are pretty great.good take away food and cuppas ect.
the set up pretty great esp for a small town like it.

saw alot of bikers there..meet some from wollongong ect..

very bike friendly plenty of accomodation around.friendly town
some picts...

probably could name the types of planes.but i dont want to make a mistake

Shame on you Cheeky, thems is "War Birds", not airplanes. The sound of those open exhaust Merlins and Griffins at wot is what we would make our busas sound like if we could, music to the ears.

Hope you don't mind Cheeky. Here are some of my memoirs from Air Force days.
I was in Scotland during the Gulf War and had the bonus of being at the RAF base where they hosted one of the 50th Anniversay air shows for the Battle of Britian.

Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane flypast.

RAF Vulcan Bomber flypast.

Vulcan on the ground.

RAF F3 Tornado swing wing fighter.

RAF Buccaneer.

Royal Dutch Air Force SAAB Viggen.

To be continued.

Great pictures. Reminds me of my days in the RAAF. Good to see that some share the same intrest in aircraft as I do. I would be keen for a ride to the next day in Temora if you are keen Cheeky.

On 5 and 6 September the Temora Museum will be flying their newly refurbished Sabre.

It's been test flown, but the above weekend will be it's maiden public flying display.

I'm planning to be there for that weekend.

yeah im off that weekend so might come out for a look. my mum used to work out that way and has been to a couple of air shows and reckons they're pretty good. good weekend for a get together if people can get the monday off- my calendar says motogp and superbikes on sunday so might be able to prop (no pun intended) on a bar stool and catch some racing while we're at it.
Ludicrous speed- go!
