Yeah ok, till we finally got there and we saw they forgot to mention he's way down this hill (friggin steep) whippersnippering around the boulders, loose rocks and black boys... Steep is steep when the poor patient is hanging on for grim life on a black boy to stop him rolling down the steep hill. I mean it took us 40 odd minutes to get there, can you imagine us then waiting for firies or someone else to come out & help.... nope. so it was us muggins and these small weeny steps so we didn't go arse over tit on a gooly. Then i had a run of deadlifting people on scoop stretchers from flat on the ground up... It's a mega workout on the quads... I had a run of those with heavies... I'm tossing the idea around. I'm meant to be finishing a uni assignment (I got 9 days to do it in) lol was doing really well Works been so busy, by the time i get home I am stuffed. ahhh ted, but happy with me rum...

my oxfords are awesome, dont drain battery even when i forgets to turn them off.
carbons are a different type again to mine.seems a few different types around. they will be tested sorely in the morn since very heavy frosts here. this morns one was very pretty. old nurse skills came in handy today. customer needed help in big way. glad i did geriatrict training.

(23-07-2009, 08:47am)Missy_Moo Wrote: Are they the full grips or wrap around types??? They are the wrap around type. They seem to work well but because they make the grips thicker you have to pull the clutch lever in hard to trigger the clutch switch so you can start the bike & it plays up with the RPM when sitting in gear as you can't pull the clutch right in as before. I have to look if the clutch switch can be adjusted or modified. (One day ![]() If it can't be adjusted then I would definately recomend the proper heated grips on a Busa so the clutch switch is not an issue. I will get by this season with them then get the full heated grips next winter & fit the wrap arounds to the ZX12 as you do not need to pull the clutch to start the bike ![]() (24-07-2009, 09:31pm)cheeky Wrote: my oxfords are awesome, dont drain battery even when i forgets to turn them off. Cheeky, how long have you left them on for as I am tossing up whether to rewire them so they turn off with the ignition so I don't get caught out ![]()

Cheeky, how long have you left them on for as I am tossing up whether to rewire them so they turn off with the ignition so I don't get caught out . i accidentally left them on over nite once.the bike started with relief. i think it would be a great idea to re wire them at the ignition. tonight after a bloody cold day out but fantastic day i saw hubby accidentally leave his on as we walked out of the shed.. i switched them off,he said thanks as his battery is frigged. i think at a big guess its up too how good your battery is. you still need to turn them off so your idea is awesome.. we froze our arses off today even with handgrips on full boar..... but then it was a bad frost. was minus 4 when set out this morn... the windchill factor worse frrrrrrrrrrrroze my butt off..needed coffee in big way at destination...but had a great day
