Hi,

Well when i sold my r1 i bought 00 gsxr 750 for about a month, then i ended up buying one of the cars i'd always wanted, a 1969 xw gt falcon in diamond white, it was very original stock engine etc. I sold it to buy my house. I still have a xw fairmont in piece's along with all the gear from my first car an xy gt replica, it got too rusty so i bought the xw shell to put all the gear into.
I have also bought a e38 charger which is under-going a full resto, i bought it as an ivestment to sell for the house but it has turned out to be a lot of drama and bigger resto then first thought, my cousin now has identical car but for couple of different options on it so when done they will look good crusing together.

That's about it for the old stuff, i did have vu2 maloo r8 with full options until just recently, i sold it to get a crf 450, you carn't get booked having fun on the dirt, if your registered that is.
So for now i'll just play with the bikes and eventually finish the charger.

Cheer's.

That sound like what half the mates say, just lucky i have a good woman and i bought at the right time, when they go up in value not down it's hard for them to complain. And the best bit about the Busa is that in the close to four years i've owned it now i can sell for what i basically bought it, gotta love the 99's.

Hey nemisis,

Mine is a mercury silver car, and so is the cousin's. I wont say i've always been a mopar fan was always for ford, but these day's i just like most of the old car's and some of the usa mopar stuff is the best out there.

Another mate use to have vg hardtop with 360 in it, and another guy had sunbird with hot 350 chev which is now going in hq sleeper.

Not posted photo's anywhere yet, and as i learnt early from guy's in gt club when you have genuine you keep them under lock and key in another secure location away from home, mine is in thousand piece's right now, have had drama with painter doing stripe's wrong so it has to basically be completely rubbed back and redone.

Cheer's.

What charger model do you own, i've gotta say too that when i had gt my cousin had e37 in mercury silver with all the stripe's, when i drove gt to work it got a good deal of attention in the traffic, when i took the charger to drop off for transport, it got probably twice as much attention. There's no argument from me that they look awesome, just don't ask it to stop in hurry:)
Found a ok photo of it.

Haha!
Thats the colour scheme i want to do mine when i restore it,maybe not that silver ( not that theres anything wrong with it)
just maybe a dif silver, but the stripes too.
Mines a vj charger sportsman. Not as rare an desirable as yours, but rare nonetheless lol.
Doesnt look like a sportsman anymore, dont usually tell people what it is,cant tell
till you look at the tags or interior.
I love aus chargers, they look awesome.

Id post a pic but got my comp reformatted again so gotta chase one up lol.
Theres pics of it somewhere on the board!!
Let us know how progress goes on yours!

Nice didn't the sports man's have the vinyle roof that ran down onto the doors?
That photo is before the stripe's, i wish it did still look like that because i could get it fixed no worries, now the whole car needs to be re-painted to fix the stripe problem. Will let you know if it happen's one day once i get motivated again.

It's a long story and one i'm just trying to forget. Your right most go the vinyle way as it is easier, however there always gloss black and the original is painted on in satin-semi gloss black.
