Hi all,

Thought i should say G'day.

I've been a Busa fan from the first magazine article i saw and still have.
I had a new gsxr 600 then and when the Busa finnally arrived there was a open day at Brisbane Motorcycle's for Suzuki, my friend and i rushed in and booked a test ride, we were only 20 but they still let us ride it anyway.

I'll never forget that first ride, it was a Red/Black with full 4-1 yoshi system on it and boy did it rocket, there were a few wheelie's that's for sure. Since that day i was always going to have one and in that colour scheme, yet when my first chance came up i was too hooked on the new R1 and went that way instead, i loved that bike too but it went as well. I then did a stint without a bike as i went back to my Muscle cars, a good investment it turned out.

A few years ago now i decided i needed another bike and there was only one choice, a Red/Black 99 Busa.
Mine is actually one of the very early 99's which do not have the extra fairing support bolt down the lower front, it had a full 4-1 yoshi system but i went back to twin yoshi's because i like the ballanced look. Got to say the thing is grat, every time i think of selling it, one ride again and you just say no.

As for my friend, he bought a Black/Grey late 99 Busa a bit before me and he has no plan to sell either.

My bike is about to get the second intake cam mod and pc3 now and from there it'll just be looked after with maaybe minor mods like wheel polish.

Cheer's,
Crowda.

Hi Crumpy,

Not sure what number mine is, how do you tell? I've only just gone over the 36000 k mark and have had mine since around the 24000 k mark.

Thanks to all for the warm welcome's, and while i may be a bit bias as well to the red/black there's a few other scheme's i'd have too, next fave is 05 silver/black i reckon.
Cheer's.
