If two different motors were modded to the same degree, it's not going to make any diff what year or model the bike is as far as hp is concerned.

Because the gen2 has got the extra hp to start & slight changes,(stroke, valves, springs+++) from gen 1 it would probably like slightly differant mods. Have a look at the USA sites, they have some good numbers from all motor mods. Leigh

Well that I don't believe (did have bull shit but one must stay polite) ............ a mod to one motor may obtain a result that to a different motor obtains no result. Thats like saying one tune setting for one bike is applicable to all ......... yeah right ? Plus the fact a Gen11 motor has approx 20 Hp more to start with ? So my question stands "Would be very interesting to see the Hp results from a Gen 11 with same mods and dollars spent !"
You appear to be doggin me around on here for some reason of which I have no idea my shadow Lol2 Very flattering indeeed, but some what annoying also.
So in the words of Pauline Hanson "PLEASE EXPLAIN"
Getting ready to make some noise.

gen1 and gen2 1441,s make the same hp.I,ve had this confirmed by more than one engine builder.the heads flow the same once ported.I dont think you,ll have to wait too long before you see a 1441 gen2 here in australia, there a great street engine that hauls the mail at the track as well.

the torq no's for the gen 2's 120 & 121 seem higher than the norm. what's the main difference between them as opposed to the other gen 2's other than the rapid sidewinder?

yes would love mine to be a 1441 gen 2 but its still some distance away.quite a few more street kays to be enjoyed yet.
