It was a great day, I was suprised that mine and Bigjay's were so even as stock Gen2's, his had 1ftlb more than me :( I was hopin for about 170 so was good to see the 183 come up. Now to do some work with after market upgrades and shoot for 200hp!!

If two different motors were modded to the same degree, it's not going to make any diff what year or model the bike is as far as hp is concerned.

Have a look at the USA sites, they have some good numbers from all motor mods. gen1 and gen2 1441,s make the same hp.I,ve had this confirmed by more than one engine builder.the heads flow the same once ported.I dont think you,ll have to wait too long before you see a 1441 gen2 here in australia, there a great street engine that hauls the mail at the track as well.

the torq no's for the gen 2's 120 & 121 seem higher than the norm. what's the main difference between them as opposed to the other gen 2's other than the rapid sidewinder?
yes would love mine to be a 1441 gen 2 but its still some distance away.quite a few more street kays to be enjoyed yet. |
