fairing removal Gen 2

HELP!!!!!!!!! i am having real trouble removing the fairing. Have started with the right side and 2 hours in i am no closer to removal. I know its a little tricky but it cant be impossible. Any ideas??????

there should be a sticky for this. definately prefer gen 1 fairings as i could have these done in no time at all and no fear of broken tabs.

Finally got it done. It wasnt easy but it is done. The link in the post above to busanation helps a little. Its just for right side tho

I dont know why its such an ordeal - I take mine off all the time with no broken tabs or hassles:

Start at the bottom and work up ie: take pins from bottom fairing at front, 2 front scoop pins to radiator, bottom allen botls, middle allen bolts, top pin into frame, screw at join of nose cone and fairing, screw at top of fariing, pull fairing out from gromet holding bottom of fairing, rotate fairing slowly upwards to part from nose cone, lift top fairing off top gromet - fairing will literally fall into your hands. Thats pretty much off the top of me head sitting watching shite on TV (might have missed something)- its not hard, take your time, look at all the angles as you go and DONT yank if it doesnt come away easily!
