new busa owner

hi all

just joined the forum. have purchased my first busa, a new 2009 black and gold with yoshis. ive had a lot of bikes in my ten years of riding. ducati 620 916 748 S4, honda cbr600rr streetfighter, gsxr1000k7, gsxr600k8. still have the S4 and the cbr600 and cant wait to pick the busa up next week. its first big trip will be riding from gold coast to motogp in october looking forward to that

Tell me, I dreamed and dreamed of a 916 in 1994 when we returned to Canberra after a 3 year posting to Exmouth in WA. I had to go on a waiting list and $25k was a big reach. Was it the fantastic machine that I missed or just another expensive Ducati to maintaine?
