Hey guys really short notice I know but me and dad have 5 to 6 weeks off work, so we have decided to take a leisurely ride up to Port Douglas over 8 days/2 weeks/whatever.
No real plans, except we want to stop at Dingo beach north of Airlie, Crystal creek above townsville and a couple places near Babinda just for a look and getaway really.
The route will be from Rockhampton to Port Douglas by the highway/coast road, then inland around Innisfail and back down again.
We will be taking a tent and sleeping bag etc and having a mix of Campsites/Caravan parks and hotels.
If anyone wants to join in we would be happy to meet up and have people tag along etc.
