Mudgee is in central west of NSW and is a lovely country city.
Lots of good roads in and out and great accommodation, pubs and vinyards etc.

by chance im going to tathra in two weeks time for a work safety meeting- i actually volunteered with the intention of doing a sighting run on the bike. hopefully i can arrange to take it instead of travelling in a car with others. i was going to go down the coast road then back through canberra and home (Nowra) from there. there is a bloke from our company who lives in Bega so i will ask him for any info on good roads etc. if anyone has ideas of anything i can check out- pubs (well ill do that anyway) or accommodation etc post them and i will see what i can do- only an overnighter so i wont have heaps of time.
