I have a really quiet Nolan (Stoner replica) and a new M2R (Vixen) that is nearly as good.
However, before you blame the helmet, consider what type of jacket you are wearing.
I have found over the years that the collar on a jacket can contribute a lot to wind noise by directing airflow upwards around your neck..
I have two jackets that are great and they have a sort of neck wrap that velcros around the front and sits on the neck like a sleeve.
But I also have a couple of jackets that have a sort of roll of leather or a normal collar and these ones tend to be very noisy and I'm sure it is the disruption to air flow around the neck area that causes it.

Putting a neck warmer or balaclava on can also restrict the noise as well.
"If time catches up with you. You're going too slow!"

A lot of noise in a helmet means more ventilation due to model/construction= less heat but if that is bothering you Try an AGV ti tech. They even come in half sizes and the prices(Us) are half the price.Remeber that little bullshit silver sticker(adr) well that wont be there and by the way it will definately save your life if you come off???????????????????

Yeah I think the song would of been "These boots are make for squeaking" Tony has the same problem with his HJC and I find my AGV noisy as well. I forgot my IPOD during the ride this weekend and had a bit of a hum going on in my ears when we got home. I got moulded earphones which blocks out the wind noise but I can still hear engine noises. Ray is onto something about the jacket because I have the same issue with my summer jacket if I leave it slightly unzipped.

I have same helmut and same prob.
But I agree with Busgo...watch ya kneck.
I am sure mine is noisy because I have stopped wearing my neck warmer and have a new jacket with low collar.

lol gcbusa with the band comment..

kinda like the tap dogs except the busa squeeky band.

i found my ear mould plugs and ipod block out all the noise..

also different screens play a part of wind noise.when i ride hubs bike he had electrical ajustable screen.but his bike makes my helmet far noisier..than normal no matter what setting you raise it too.
yep the jackets do make things noisy too ..

The boots will wear in ,most boots tend to creak and squeek
I have a shoei and its bloody noisy, a common cause is a poorly fitted helmet , as in you may have a helmet one size too big.
