Unfortunately due to a mixup on the day of the funeral we didn't get a chance to say what we felt on behalf of the Club.
This is the final version after Richard had a look over it...
I don't know how long ago it was but shit it still feels like yesterday that u were with us DB.
I am still in shock and disbelief even after this time....
NEVER forgotten.

Eulogy For Mr Dirtbags
Where do you start with a bloke like Dirtbags.
On our Annual Jindabyne Ride last December one of the Members had a small accident on his bikeā¦not only did Dirtbags take him to hospital but Dirtbags also stayed with him until he was discharged. Dirtbags patiently waited for over four hours at the hospital whilst we were all back partying at the Pub. Dirtbags had never met this member before but felt obliged to help out.
Just a few months back another Member had a more serious accident and who was the person who repeatedly visited him whilst he was recovering at hospital and then at home? Dirtbags.
He was a true motorcycle enthusiast who loved bikes and the people who rode them.
He was a true friend to many in the Hayabusa and Hangmore Clubs.
He would go out of his way to help you out even if he didn't know you.
To a lot of us Dirtbags should have been on a Harley, he just had that tough exterior look, but to those who knew him Dirtbags was nothing like the tough exterior he portrayed.
He had a heart of gold. He was a real character who left an impression on all he met.
He loved his mighty Hayabusa motorcycle and was very opinionated that it WAS the best motorcycle but that did not stop him riding with others at Hangmore who rode a variety of bikes, you see Dirtbags also loved people, his mates at Hangmore and the Hayabusa Club.
He also loved his wife, children and family. More than one person has told me that they had never seen a person so passionate about his wife and family.
We will miss him enormously, he has left a huge impression on both Clubs and we were very fortunate to have know this man with the big heart. If there is a message Dirtbags has taught us all it is love each other and your family and whatever you do do it with passion!
If there is any consolation to his death it is that he was the type of person who had life by the horns and made the most of every second of it.
He was living life to the fullest.
Our deepest condolences go out to Janette, Jaye, Ebony and the family
Rest In Peace Mr Dirtbags,
You have touched many people and we will never forget you.
Cheers,
Pete
