whats it like owning the fastest bike on the street???(many zx14 owners will argue!haha).
... ever pulled up to the lights or a group of riders and they all stare(or try not to stare!haha)
... or they let the clutch out too early coz theyre keen to get out before youBiker.

parked up next to a guy and his partner(riding 1098).
i overheard her ask her partner(looking at the Kanji symbol and sounding out HA-YA-BU-SA)is that bike fast???...
he said "its ok..." and quickly looked the other way, trying not to pay too much attention...

i had the biggest grinGhastly... id smoke you!Hayabusa

I've had a pair of guys in a yellow rx7 13b turbo pull up next to me at the lights & ask if I wanted a race. I laughed & said my bike will hit 200 in under 7 secs, why would I waste my time.
The passenger was laughing so hard that the driver missed the green & I was gone before he even knew it. Ghastly

Seems that lots of guys, especially the one's who are fresh out on the street, come out and try to race you with their cars. I think most of them know they are gonna get the butts handed to them, they just wanna see how damn quick the bike goes.

With the new street racing laws from the neo-facist-communist-left wing-political-fun police I ain't gunna risk it. If they "interpret" your actions to be street racing it's bye bye bike, what a crock of shit!
Long live the nanny police state!

I'm hearing you man - I generally just let it go as it's not worth the risk! In any case I'm secure in the knowledge that when I'm sitting at the lights that it's going to take something special to beat the busa if I really wanted to have a go!

I also have a good laugh when guys on sport bikes (R1, GSXR etc) pull up along side the bike, give it a look and then don't show any interest at all. Then when the lights go green I take off REAL slow and they are even slower, like they know that they could be owned if we both had a go!

Yes would have to agree with everyone.

I always have a laugh when people find out you ride bikes and they ask you what you ride and you come back say nothing special just a Busa and then they come back say your joking aren't you those things are bloody quick, if only they really knew how quick Lol3.

I was thinking about this on the ride home, I take off like a lunatic at every set of lights. Two reasons, number one is it makes me happy, but also it gets me the hell away from the cars and builds a buffer. Did I mention it makes me happy?

Yeh those 1098's are soooo slow , i dont know why people bother with those Italian pieces of crap Coffee2
I think most people know how quick the bus is because it isn't very often i get challenged for a run.
Even if people arn't into bikes they normally know what a Busa is and what they're capable of 2fast4u
