Cause and Effect in life.

In life i,ve come to realise i,m a fairly analytical person, who tends to test an action with a result to make a judgement on the outcome. With my job fixing spas and pools this logical process has held me in good stead in being good enough at it to support my family from its income. In my bike ownership and drag racing and doing riding courses, once again this thought process has allowed me to minimise wasteful actions and identify the road forward.with my dieting for drag racing once again, ive had good results from it.When it comes to women and my 2 daughters i,m totally at a loss, there not logical or methodical and i feel in a differnt world.lol Anyway,i grew up in a christian family and have been a christian for most of my life.Once again my way of judging this life choice is to measure it with cause and affect. In doing so in my life personally i see the results through the wisdom i get from reading the bible and the relevance it has to my daily grind,i also see the answers to questions i have to god in the ways events out of my control work out for the better or for the worse.I have definately noticed the increased accountability i have to god since being married and having children, the leash,if you like gets shorter, lol. To me all this is as obvious as the results i got from changing my diet.We all make a decision on how to live our lives and dread anyone forcing their way of life upon another, god says to spread the word as a christian and stick your neck out in the face of criticism for him.He honours that and then its up to those who have listened to choose their way in life. All i can say is its a narrow road, with consequences when you stray(trust me) but ultimately is a rewarding one in what you receive from the real things in life that make you happy, and thats just here on earth, heavens a bonus too.

It took courage and a gift for articulation to pull that off. Pi_thumbsup
Especially at a time when evangelism (of all religions) can seem sinister... to me at least.

woah.
heavy stuff there Glenn.
Didn't know you were so dedicated to the cause.
And finally I find out what your nic means.
Spa Man Glenn...make sense NOW!

I have no beef against any religion at all.
And I respect people who follow through in their beliefs.

As for "When it comes to women and my 2 daughters i,m totally at a loss, there not logical or methodical and i feel in a differnt world"

Don't start me!

I agree, I don't need a building or dedicated place when you talk to the big fella upstairs. I just hope with my ass hanging out, he might be listening...

Well done glen....Yes i couldn't of said it better myself Bro! I am also a Christian as some members would know and i to can testify to the difference a life of accountability can make...we still have the choice to do as we please Praise God! hey i'm not perfect ask anyone that knows me but there is a Book as you say Glen that gives us wisdom to TRY to make better choices in life! and i'm with you i don't ram my choice down peoples throats but i don't hide it either.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts mate awsome words.
Craig
I'd rather be riding my Hayabusa thinking about God than sitting in church thinking about my Hayabusa
