Serves the idiot right with his son on the back. I mean most of us have done that speed (or more :)) at some stage but doing it with a pillion is just crazy!

While I'm ranting I hate seeing young kids on the back of bikes without the proper gear. Seems to be mostly Harley riders. Image before safety. Pffft.

Rant over! Very Happy

I agree with kids on the back it should be speed limit only and they should have as much or even more protection than what we are wearing! but certainly does not look like 180k's to me more like 120 or 130 max?
I'd rather be riding my Hayabusa thinking about God than sitting in church thinking about my Hayabusa

I find that vision to be very deceptive.
We all know how television cameras distort distance. That bend looks more like a very slight kink in the road rather than a corner.
However, I agree, no high speed stuff with unprotected pillions should be the go.
Especially in the wet.

6 months gaol - I think that he would be appealing and probably get a suspended sentence.
Tough if he doesn't.

finally got the vid to work on the 3rd attempt -- it does not look like close too 200 Kmh considering he isn't FLYing past other motorists

but as others have said --- do it alone .. Ok that's your decision - do it with a pillion - you should be shot .....

If i take anyone on my bike , especially kids -- its smooth acceleration and ride with safety in mind ( ie every car will pull out in front of me - that car at the intersection has not seen me - get ready to set up brakes ) not that i dont do that now - but far more aware of it ...

200km/h? pigs arse!

as for slight kink, looks like a corner too me...
and as im aware speed cameras cant be operated in australia while raining as they are not accurate/reliable.
Peregrine Falcon - Capable of slicing winds at over 300km/h
Hayabusa - Capable of carrying my arse to over 300km/h
