Have her chain at the front roller door wrapped around a bessa block.
so the wandering mutt would stay and watch the world from the garage.

I did a fly by home around 7pm to pick something up.
Dog got a pat by me and the partner, happy days.
She moved the block fractionally - yeah that can be done.
