Nah, I meant next week to meet the new busa guy, and check out my bike porn (12th it would be). Just got back from navigating the Cotter. It's been some time since I did that and I understand why I haven't really enjoyed it before. When is the local govt going to get off it's arse and redo some of the roads in this joint? It's not like there is that many of them! The cotter would be a great ride with some new asphalt laid down.

Also headed up to a camping site past Thawa. There's a tricky little rise and VERY sharp dip about 30m before a hard right hander. Just a tip for anyone heading that way, go easy on the throttle. It is damn hard to corner when your bike is a foot in the air! All I did was blip the throttle and managed to launch half way to the moon. I might look at putting some full nobbies on and relaxing the springs a bit. Are Crusty looking for a Ducati act?

Well the busa club still met, with a brand new member and a Ducati rider! We actually went for a throttle up to Picadilly and ended at the Durham in Kingston. A couple of beers and the skirts were all over us.... well the bikes anyway. Damn that silver/grey looks good in twilight hours.

PS In case you haven't seen any roos in Canberra for a while, it's not coz the footy seasons finished. It's coz they're all scared shitless of the duke whipping past 'em. Not a good idea to wrap around blind corners as the sun's going down..... <i></i>

Ok dudes, This Thursday, 7pm. I suggest new venue, Zefferelli's! The pizzas are dead cheap and good, and booze is a lot cheaper than that place on the corner. Max, you remember where it is, we met you there one night during summernats. We can park the bikes up on the footpath outside. It is in Dickon, directly opposite O'Rielly's pub. The other side of the pedestrian crossing.

I'm going to be a little late, I have an event, but should be there by 7.15.
