Geez Trix, if I had known the table was full of that sort of rif raf I wouldn't have come over Lol3

Probably best you didn't know what sort of rif raf was approaching either

Foot note

Between Tone, Russell and John there is 105 years riding experience. They used to ride together in their younger days. I still can't get any good stories out of them so it must be true about what happens on the ride stays on the ride

No worries Luke just don't do it again. Very Happy Running in leathers and a helmet is hell on someone who doesn't exercise. I don't think I got my breath back until Kingaroy. Thats what a club ride is all about is staying together and helping each other out. Grouphug

Wow, terrific photo report Trix. Great to see so many out for a weekend of fun.
(Though why GC leaves the gold coast has got me beat)

Thanks to all for coming along & making the ride what im sure everyone will agree was a bloody hoot.Clap

Itâ€s the 1st overnighter that ive organized & run with the numbers we had.
6 day trippers for part of the ride
19 bikes 21 people overnightering was a great turnout, considering the distance to be travelled which ended up being between 560 to 800 ks depending where riders arrived from.
However the awards for distance travelled to this ride go to
1st Pete & sue on the bandit coming up from Sydney
2nd Wayne coming done from Bilieo
3rd Luke coming from Maryborough well done guys I know you enjoyed

Ok so we had a few little hicâ€cups from leaving Lawnton until Kingaroy
1 minor off into the grass ( luke) all ok
1 holed radiator ( gcbusa Greg) fixed & away again
A bit of group separation which not everyone knew about BUT it all worked out perfectly & we all regrouped again at our planed fuel stop.

After leaving Kingaroy fuelled up ( for the 2nd timeRolll ) for our run to Mundubbera for lunch spirits were high everyone was fresh & in the grove for the cracking pace that was set.

Mundubbera to GinGin food in there bellies & some much need fuel (greenys Busa 21liters how he didnâ€t run out got me. When Pete & sue caught up with him on they thought he was sick going so slow & laying on his fuel tank they didnâ€t realise he was waiting to come to a halt.
1 bird strike to the hand ( GC busa)
1 holed radiator & a bird strike (keenBeen mitch)
1 puncture ( Nigel & Caryn fireblade)

All arrived safe & sound at the hotel ,checked in to rooms, beer oclock was on, chains were getting lube & stories were being told.
After everyone got freshened up we hit the Pub lots of Beer & laughing all night.
Great Pub I didnâ€t hear any body complaining about dinner at all great prices, sizes ,service & friendly staff.
Talks were still going on out side the rooms late into the night prior to turn in
( Nigel you better get a busa now after chewing off everyone ear asking bout them Lol2).

Sunday Morn was an early start & we rose to gorgeous day & all the stories you have when you stick strangers in rooms eg mine ( I didnâ€t know there was so much wild life in Gin Gin Lions, tigers & bears in my room lol )
Greeny warned his room mates as you do what they could expect BUT to His surprise he was actually in a room with Quote 2 PofessionalsLol3

Brecky & fuel Then the run was on to Paradise Dam at Biggenden
As discussed the tone was going to be turned down for the return ride
Ghastly(yeah right for the 1st 30ks out of town). Hit the dam meet up with a few of the Northeren Memebers then we were on our way again.

Was a very smooth free flowing sprint run to Kilkivan were we discovered Greenyâ€s tyre was coming apart & the tail endeds were busy picking up all of Johns clothing after his bag had come apart.
Greenys ride was over after a slow crawl to Gympie were he called a mate to come get him.
4 others headed for home via the hwy & the remaining 8 bikes headed to
Kenilworth for lunch before our cruise for home.
The Return ride was about between 400 & 600Ks depending on where they lived & which way they went

Was Great to have spent time with such a great bunch of people & it was a great learning experience for all the newbies†as well as the old dogs. Was great to see them learning bout there bikes, seeing the helping hands when need be, Riders confidence & skill levels improve as the ride went on. I myself got a few ideas to help the running of future rides.

With such a large number of bikes & rider skill levels on hand it was an awesome
Outcome to have had such a Smooth ride with no major problems & hopefully no tickets .

So whoâ€s up for the next 1?

Looking at end of April heading South so stay tuned.

Oh & lets see more pics
If anyones got them & cant figure out about posting them up or hasnt got time
just email me them & i'll do it shane.alletag@optusnet.com.au

Thanks again Shane
