As some may remember I have been complaining about hard gear changes for quite a while.
I thought it may have been oil a while back, gear lever position, bleeding of clutch.
I tried it all.
And then I thought about the clutch lever itself.
It wasnt genuine.
Been trying to get one at a reasonable price, wasnt going to pay 70 fIUYckin bucks for something that may not fix the prob.
Anyway Vic Mcycle wreckers had heaps of them (genuine) at 25 bucks!!!!!
Got one delivered just fitted it an hr ago.
They are great to deal with btw.
Recommended for bits.
Took the bike up the road straight away noticed the difference.
u had to really pull it in before to disengage.
Now disengages about a third the way in like it used to do.
It was an aftermarket lever that I changed when I had a drop 2 yrs ago.
All that time it has been annoying me.
So much so lately that I wasnt riding very much either.
All fixed.
Whos up for a ride?
