I think having a spannering session at someone's house is okay, but coffee meetings have to be in a public place and on a regular basis, as we often get people showing up that don't post on the web. They can be unpredictable and tricky to cater for in a house...
Simmo/Graham, I think some people are hoping to have it CLOSER to the northern and southern suburbs, not further out than Parra... but see what people think...
Any other suggestions?

Yes, but Darlinghurst Rd is not the most reccomended place for a busa meet, just as Redfern probably isnt smart either. The idea is just a suggestion so that nobody has to miss out for a couple of months.
Spannering/BS session to be advised!!!
