I thought it might be time to start the Jindy 08 thread! I took bugger all photos, even though I swore this year would be different. We figure we didn't get a group shot, but then again, most of us were on the mountain, and there are PLENTY of photos of that!

Ihotbusa and Mrs 1hotbusa motoring sedately off to their garage sale. I know where you can get parts for Gen 1 red/blacks going CHEAP!!
CGbusa, I spoke to the Ruffys, put your photos up. I bet the rest of the club wants to see what happened, I know Ruffy does, he wasn't even there! Just keep in mind that we aren't the only ones looking at these posts, Ruffy's family including his children have popped in as well. You will know the ones to show.

Here are a few of my pics. I didn't get many either.

Same as last year it rained upon arrival.
At least this time I made it to my room dry.

The departure morning, yep the sun came out to see us off.
This small bunch of bikes had groups of 2 or 3 coming and going for about an hour after breakfast.

Great photos! You really have a knack for it GC! Put the one in of you wearing the safety vest directing traffic, that is my favourite!
Just out of interest, why was Ray sneaking up on me? Was it lucky I didn't turn around? I got good at deliberately not turning around to look, Shredder taught me that early on over the weekend.
looked liked everyone had a ball, congratulations to everyone who went!!!!!

kawasuki Wrote:Good pics mate, I must say i had a great time on the ride. This place is a one of a kind and i wouldnt mind doing it again even though i said up north next time, but hey we can do both.
Even through with the snow ,rain and ice, I treated my leathers with Dubin before i left and the rain didnt penatrate the leathers which was a great benefit. The three of us (and then there were three) had many two wheel slides into corners and nice power drifts coming out in the wet. And we didnt speed But I was chasing a water tail (whale tail) it must have been 50mtrs long and I couldnt see what was making it. I reckon the loop feels like a weekend ride when conditions are not good, but would love to get a dry one in some day just so we could stop here and there and check out the scenery.. :
Ray,
it's not over until it's over. Love Jindy, but figures of those who attended and didn't attend pretty well indicates the rest of the club don't want to do Jindy anymore. Or is my perception flawed?
Max
Good weather, good woman, good road, good bike, good-bye!!
great to see and read.
If ok I will put these together and make a slide show folder on the Photo Gallery...
Th jindy loop each year inevitably in the wet is my acid test of my riding skills and bike set up each year, and I see it as a notch on my belt for surviving it whilst doing it competently. This year i was under prepared(not enough road riding) and the conditions were probably the worst we,ve had and i really struggled physically and mentally after all that had happened.Sliding coming into corners with a fogged up visor in the rain,2hrs from an ambulance that was already full ain,t fun.Heck ive only done it in the dry once in the other direction on the second year of the honda snowy ride.I,d still do it again each year in a smaller group but would like to try a dry loop somewhere else as well.
