Hiya King.
I love the Draggins. Got 3 pairs and they are comfy. The leathers I have are very comfy too (part of a 2 piece suit for track days mostly), but nothing like the Draggin jeans. The two piece draggins (unzip at the knee) are the least comfortable and the heaviest...
I've heard nothing but good about them in accidents...

Hi just for a reference the two guys that come off at Jindy last weekend both had Draggin jeans on with wet weather gear over the top! the wet weather gear was shredded but the jeans were in tact and no lost skin!!
great jeans i brought a pair of black cargo....can't really tell they are bike related clothing but i know my skin is safe!!! but if you're serious about corners and future track work get some leathers for those type of rides!
I'd rather be riding my Hayabusa thinking about God than sitting in church thinking about my Hayabusa

Hi King,
My 2 cents worth.
riding wet or dry doesn't matter - accidents happen in the dry as well.
Ive got draggin which i wear over my suit pants (I ride to work) but for "big" rides i wear leathers.
My girlfriend is getting her licence and i will recommend leather. went into the bike store and they agreed.
A couple of things to consider, get pants / jacket with armour and padding. Draggins dont have these. A pedestrian ran in front of me a year ago and i dropped the bike (it wasn't raining) luckily i had on my leather pants with padding on the knee. The stitching was broken but my knee was OK - no padding (ie draggins) I would have been in hospital.
For maximum protection leather with paading and armour. If you go for fabric, get some with padding / armour.
Disadvantage of leather - its hotter in summer (damn hot).
Stoner and Rossi et al wear leather and not fabric - probably for a good reason.
Cheers
steven
I ride everywhere in leathers...these days 1 piece--summer or winter
incl boots and gloves////// just like the impact resistance of the leathers plus the ability to retain body armour in knees and thighs.

I have a great pair of Dragon Jeans.
The jeans are the black heavy cotton type that look like good quality black jeans but they have the heavy Kevlar in the seat and on the knees.
They are extremely comfortable boot leg jeans and don't have the loose legs like the camo ones do that tend to flap around in the breeze.
Same price I think.

Draggin Jeans for the hot days, plus airflow Jacket.
Leathers anytime I get the chance to wear em
never fly higher than your angel.
Summer and winter we ride in leathers. However, we ride in civies and summer Kevlar Jacket to work. Im seriously thinking of getting some draggins and changing into my civies at work.
draggins are great and i just odered an rjays grip textile jacket with knox body armor and rjays stealth2 gloves
