Dual or Single system??
#1
I am in the process of selecting an exhaust system for my K8, and am after some opinions. I will be choosing between dual Yoshis slip ons (either TRS or RS3 carbon), or full single system in the before mentioned. I would much rather dual pipes, but do not beleive that yoshimura do a full dual system. Can I have some feedback please.

ti force do a full dual system in titanium. It weighs about 5.5kg compared to 22.5kg.17kg off the bike makes a big difference to how it steers at all speeds, let alone acceleration.then theres the 10 or more hp you pick up as well.sticking with the slipons and stock headers will only be better between 3 and 4000 revs, but the full system will still be over 10kg lighter than slip ons making up for the lack of urge at that point with less weight. If its just for lazy sunday rides, slipons,if you like your corners and want to use less effort to ride fast get a full system.

If I was using an 08 I would buy the Tsukigi cannon 4 into 1, looks bloody great, full ti system and great power gains you can also get damm good deals on these at the moment.
All the best with the hunt I'm going through the same process at the moment and it's not easy, so many good pipes out there.

Just in case you haven't seen our discussion thread on GEN II exhaust options.

The new range of Yoshi slip ons are really built to enhance the shape of the GEN II.

My Yoshis again. They sound deep with the baffles in and growly with them out.

Thanks for the advice. I have decided on a set of Yoshimura RS3 Carbon slip ons. Hopefully they will arrive quickly. I will post pictures when I have them.
