Back to the Micron GPs for the K8.
The TwoWheelSuperStore in Heatherbrae NSW has a pair on the shelf in the Matt Black finish with carbon fibre end caps.

Can those pipes be fitted to a gen 1 busa?
They look mad :)

You can buy them for a Gen 1.
The ones in the shop are for a Gen II. The header connectors and the rear mount brackets are slightly different I think.

Black microns for AU$1100 from the US, arrived yesterday and fitted today on a blue/black k8.
Phaarrkin great deep sound, minus inserts of course. Will take some pics when the sun decides to come back to Perth.

The microns will go down in price due to the possible closure of the company. There are some us dealers that are shipping them out for $1000 to your door.

The finish is a lovely satin black surface and carbon fibre end caps. There are other options but these are the best looking I reckon.
The pipes themselves are hydroformed and not welded and therefore have no seams or rivets to split or work loose.
