I'm after a set for a track day hopefully in the near future, will see if I can pay and collect now and fit later. Pushed the fingernail into the rubber, man they are a soft tyre.

Be careful buying "specials" on tires - the recent clearout of M1 tires that AS was getting rid of is the now obsolete M1 - you gotta think how old are they? EG a tire that has been sitting in a shop for nearly a year or even 6mths would have been sitting in a warehouse for over 2 years think about th etime it leaves the factory to get to a shop so if they are obsolete they are getting rid of warehouse stock that has been around a long time - the tires you buy new are already a few months old - just a thought

Tyres have a date of manufacture embossed in their profile section where all the details are, its usually on one side depending on what you buy,it has only 4 numbers one after the other surrounded in an oval shaped line Eg:(4607) that means that the tyre was made on the 46th week(dec) of 2007.In germany they recomend that the tyre should not be older than 2 years in shelf life mode and stored of the ground.
