Went to Parkour yesterday
#1
Tried Parkour Sunday.
Took my 10 yo daughter.
These guys are amazing.
It went for 3 hrs in the city.
VERY well organised.
Learnt to jump, run, roll, fall properly all in the day.

Sore as today and some grazing on back from rolling on the concrete.
Some really interesting info on the body etc.
Well worth a look in.

Will I be back next week?

Still debating...
My daughter is keen though.

I will probably be going again this Sunday.
If you did go Nem we would be in separate classes (as I have done the free introductory class now) but if your injuries are ok you would love it.
VERY interesting, informative, fun and tiring...did I say tiring?...and tiring!
Heres the link.
This Sunday is longer for some reason because end of month.
They are there rain, hail or shine...

Well it's been about ten weeks now since I joined Parkour.
I have gone almost every Sunday for around 3 hrs each time.
I cant believe how fit I feel.
My upper strength and abs are really getting there.
I just put this short video together.
It really is amazing what you can learn in a few weeks.
Every move I have learnt I didn't think I would do.
The rolling is also done on bitumen!
The wall at the end is about 12 ft high.

I'm telling you if you want to get fit, meet a great bunch of people and have variety try Parkour.

It's not for everyone but I prove that anyone CAN do it.

I have had some injuries but from over trying.
Main areas are abs.
You need abs of steel for this shit.
They call it your core strength.

Great Video Pete, looks like your having fun and enjoying your work out and it's free. Good to see you promoting what you like about Parkour Pi_thumbsup

I really enjoy my Bikram Yoga and I amaze my self what I can do now in my classes.
I've got a spin bike at home that I use when I'm having a break from yoga
I lost my pudgie bits and I feel great Fatman Life Be In It !!
