Yep :-) just "kinda" because I dont check the forum all that much and after being in the WRX club, the 300zx club, a few Jeep clubs, Im a little anti club. Most clubs have more politics than the election.. Maximum fun with minimum rules is what I need. :-)

Saw this little beauty there......





This bike (Triumph 650 Thunderbird) was the first mass produced "super bike" of the mid 1950's. (The only bike that could knock my Honda CB 450 )

I have to say I dunno why I bothered going there, just a few specimens and mostly riders parking on lawn with a come look at my bike parade.....

But the lime milk shake that I had after made up for it, bewdifull.

dunno rev I must be getting too long in the tooth, didnt do much for me. Bike scene boring me. Where are the days hanging out at a bike cafe with heaps of gals wanting a ride on your wheels.....or the other. Guess theyre riding themselves who needs the boys now. <i></i>

I disagree Volvi,i sort of liked the low key affair of the whole day.Was a good chance to get out in the sun,check out some old and new bikes,laze on the grass and take in the music from the bands,check out some of the boats in the habour.
Anyway i had fun.
that piece of shit that you took the photo of,i watched him as he started it and rode it off,i think he would be keeping the oil companies rich by the bloody smoke the thing was blowing.
Couple of nice kwaka and honda sixes there.

Here's a war story for you........ all true as well

My father ran a motorcycle sales & repair shop in Moonee Ponds up until the early 60's. During WW 2 he was given a contract from the US Army to assemble Indians & Harley's from crates. Just after the war had finished he had some wooden crates unopened out back which had been recently delivered by truck. When the crates were opened they contained brand new spare engines for the Army bikes that were classified as surplus to requirements & he ended up with all of them. <i>Edited by: rev 01 at: 30/11/06 12:10
