Some good info here fellars my main question for the guys that have fitted a PC unit to there K8's is what have the main benefits of fitting the unit been, I'm putting on a 4-2-1 next week on my K8 ( full yoshi with R22 can ) and I am wanting to know weather I should also be heading down the track of installing a PC unit. Is the standard ECU unit good enough or is it a case to make full use of the full system that I should be installing a PC. Any info welcomed.

Rev this will give you an idea what you are up against if you can find someone who can tune your ecu you wont need a pc3 but I don't know if anyone has cracked it yet

This is a copy of my map it may help some Gen2 owners

I have been playing with this map it started out as a copy of Tim's dyno map (thanks Tim)

I have been tuning it via a wide band 13.5 to 14 fuel range
its not 100% but it is very close for my bike

Stock motor
4-1 R77 yoshi
After market air filter DNA
& the pair valve is now blocked, thats why the low down fuel is in the minuses, it is now sucking extra fuel down the throttle bodies not air via the air box detour

Hope this helps
The minuses is taking the fuel out
plus adding it in, have fun Guys

MMM my top end is close to Tims except at 100% for the drags
No bike maps should be same but you have no minus's ?? strange

It would be interesting to compare some other maps also

different pipe might want more fuel up top and perhaps your bike was tuned to a different air fuel ratio dan.Differnt altitude as well can change things.

Hey Simmo my PAIR valve is blocked - I just can't remember if I blocked it off before or after I got the map dynoed... Confused Roll

Map shown here for reference or if anyone wants to use it. Yoshi R-77 full system. Stock air.

Dan the map I got from DynoJet-US for my configuration was way too rich... apparently due to the difference in fuels in Australia and the US.
