Ok, this is what happens when you only have internet at work.
1) no Max, I don't have a gasket. I'll ring CMC today and see if I can source one.
2) HUH? Are we riding on Sunday?
3) leaving Bardy's Cafe (the one I took you all to in Bungendore ages ago) at 11am on Saturday (weather permitting). I suggest getting there at 10.30 so we can have a cupppa before we go.
4) yep to the back way to Goulbourne, I figure there might be a few BMWs there, so I was going to lead if I was on my own. If I'm not, Max can lead I'm happy to follow.
5) Max you ROCK.

5) Max you ROCK. We had a top ride on the way back at least.
On the way down we rode with the BMW club. What a bunch of old woman fuddy duddy riders. Mind you they did apologise while we had lunch with them in Gouldburn. They are a nice bunch of people, they just can't ride.
One of them "Lew" said to say "G'day" to Saracen, they're pretty close mates at work!
On the way back with the chappy doing the Loop while getting exposure to the assistance available for young kids who have problems-and how to beat suicide, these bloody Hardleys turned up and provided the escort. I got totally jack shit after we had done some 5 kays of 100kph Tarago Road at nothing more than 80kph. Poofters had too little protective clothing, those stupid masks they wear because they're too tough to wear a proper crash helmet - and were showing off their manly ankles with their forward controls - so they were just too cold to go any faster.
I left and rode ahead at 120kph, then, get this, Monyx boots passed doing 160+kph. At that juncture the Hayabusa Club plus a bloke on a 1000fireblade bid the party a righteous "Good Day" and left heading South at a fairly reasonable clip. 160 to 200s. Way to Go Marky!
The rest of the ride was pretty bloody good. I don't think I'll ride with the BMW crew again. The AHC - anyday!
Max

I nearly went spare when we were all doing 100kms/hr, and we came up to a corner posted 80kms. EVERYONE threw out the anchors in panic. BUGGER ME!
The guy on the GSXR1000 did well. We'd lose him when we jumped, and he got a bit scared going around a bend over 200, but he did well. The surprise of the day was Monxy. YOU HOON!!!

The bloke on the red fireblade you mean? Bleached blond hair from the BMW club, he was hooting - for a Honda anyway

Oh is that what it was. Actually, the headlight should have given it away now I think about it. I just assumed that only a Suzuki would be able to keep us in sight.
According to a friend, I have probably turned that poor bloke gay. As we slowed down for Lake Bathurst, I waved him up beside me to see who it was. When I had a look, I gave him the 'well done, you are doing very well thumbs-up'. The friend I told that to said that getting that from a woman is possibly the most emasculating thing he could imagine.
sorry......

Don't worry Heidi, I've set it straight with David (Fireblade) as I networked a bit since he's involved in new media/publications at his place of employment.
He says enjoyed the ride back even 'little blade really enjoyed it'
