Some people are like Slinkies ... not really good for anything, but you can't help smiling when you see one tumble down the stairs.

The rules have been modified so much to help the Fords catch up, the results aren't even relevant any more. The cars are now so generic the whole Ford VS Holden thing really is a misnomer.

+ what Rev said, double yawn.

Give me bike racing any day.

Further to previous re car racing, about 3 months ago I watched a car racing program on ABC 2 called "Late Night Legends ". This featured a round of what looked like the 1960's era Aus Sports car Championship.

All in grainy black & white as well. BUT..........the race was bloody fantastic to watch because of the diversity of vehicles involved, which included a Ferrari, Repco Brabham, MGB, home made Ford V8 powered specials, Elfins, Alfa's etc.

Having a two make car racing series is like disqualifying all comers because the local product is STILL not up to scratch. Look what happened at Bathurst with the Nissan GTR.............banned..too good. On top of that you have the prima donna participants carrying on like spoiled brats & wanting to belt hell out of their fellow competitors for the slightest infraction Roll

Still a yawn fest IMHO & always will be.......Coffee
