Has anyone managed to get one of these yet? I want one, but as usual I can't find a reseller who has one to sell me.

I have a mate making some enquiries for me, I will let you know as soon as he gets back to me. I have one on my '99 and like the way my knees get to shove the big bastard around without damaging the paint. The paint is also as good as the day I got it.

are they for 08 model? cause the shape of the tank is different to
a gen 1.

Yep those are for 08 models according to Bagster. Supposed to be colour coded. They do white and a black also..

Yeh larra my man those are for K8....
I've bought mine here in Finland straight away when I saw possibility to do so...
They surely saves the tank....perfect thing
You have to adjust it little by little but in the end it fits good...

Hi all,

Well my order is in. I spoke with the wholesale company called bagster who only will deal with dealers. So if anyone wants one in any colour to match the k8 busa you will be given information on your local dealer who can arrange for one. I also got told that if they are not in stock - that its about a 3 week wait.

The 08 tank protectors look sensational in my opinion. I got a price given to me of $215.

I reckon this eats the carbon fibre that Geelong can do. The whole tank is covered for an extra 80 bucks and looks pretty super.

Agreed, although I've been using a GCC tank protector on my K8 since November last year. I couldn't have waited for bagster to get their arse into gear. Also, my GCC tank protector only cost me $100 fitted at the factory.

I will be ordering a bagster tank cover though, I think they look great.

Speak with Frank from CMC in Mitchell and he can place the order for you. Not sure what the bag costs but I think the whole package would be a good plus, especially for touring.

I am dropping out to Mitchell tomorrow morning around 10.30 so I will ask on the bag costs.

did`nt get invoice for the bag, but the cover is 180 USD here
