Thanks to Wayne for providing this info for us

Biloela Hotel motel is no good all booked out at this point.

Commercial is $55 dollars a night per room. Each room has 2 single beds. They do not have their own bathrooms. They have a common bathroom for everyone. I would also highly recommend the restaurant at this one. It is a little Thai restaurant that they have just opened up. Only one chef so meals take a little while depending on the people there at the time. No real parking for the bikes but I dont think you should have any troubles.

The raintree is $110 a room. The pizza's they make are awesome have not had anything else from there though to comment on. This one is also on the edge of town and has undercover area for the bikes."

This is another option
We ride to Mungungo and stay the night at the pub there. Rates are 35 per single or 55 per couple. The sticking point is that they only have 3 rooms available and 2 of those rooms have a Queen size bed (hmmm I have visions of cream buns!!!) however, the other one has a Queen bed and a set of double bunk beds. Andy reckons he will do a deal on that room. No undercover parking but we can park our bikes around the back. Meals are available from 6-8 and its share a bathroom too.

Ok you guys have 3 days to decide where we go after that Im gonna make an executive decision.

If you decide on Mungungo and dont mind a little bit of dirt (not sure how much but i think about 20km between mungungo and many peaks) and want a good ride there is about 70km of big sweepers and nice windy road between many peaks and calliope. Very awesome ride just need to watch a couple of single lane bridges. I know it is a little longer and out of the way but if you wanted to take the coast road home this would suit you down to the ground.

I'm keen for the ride, accom costs don't really put me off too much either. But cheaper is better of course. It's not like I'll be spending a week there or anything though.

What sort of speeds do you guys generally cruise at on this type of ride? I guess I'm looking for something that isn't completely boring, but doesn't bust my licence (again) either... I'm just trying to gauge if I'm the type of rider that you want on this trip.

Yes, Mianna is still wondering about the cream buns in my paniers from the GI weekend. I still haven't found out where (or who) they came from. Pi_tongue Somehow I don't think it was Russell who was responsible for that one either.

Sharing Queen beds is a bit more cosy than I can relate to, even in my passion statement shorts.Ghastly

Just come along and do what your comfortable with. At least you can say you were there, unlike a lot of other 'riders' in Qld at the moment. Show us how good the '08 is.

The Commercial would be OK for me, otherwise is there anything in Monto or Moura?
