Qld Overnighter to Biloela - 14 June 2008

Ok to spread out the time between weekenders, i.e. the Esk Sleep over in August and its now May and there is nothing in between, Ok I came up with a ride out west sortof staying overnight in Biloela. Giving you ladies have to organise yourselves and need lots of notice well here it is.

Ok we will need to hit the road pretty early so Im thinking meet at
the Shell at Strathpine at 6:30 to be on the road at 7am. Do a stop for morning tea and lunch the head down bum up to Biloela. If you want details of the ride PM me and I will send you a link with the route set out. Don't want any blueboys waiting for us do we. Can those who are staying at the Commerical 4992 1603 ring them and confirm their booking. I booked 5 rooms under my name (each has a 2 single beds in) so thats 10 people in. So far definately going (unless something really drastic happens) are

Ok change of plan. Leaving at 7:30 now to give people who travel up a breather and butt break (Megan unless the 08 has a better seat!!). Its going to be around 600kms each way folks so start squeezing them butt cheeks to obtain buns of steel.

I will post up departing times when the route has been finalised. Im thinking its going to be a big day in the saddle for the to trip but not so big on the return. I will also put up the accomodation details as well

This will be a good full days ride so any pussys will have to harden up
It will be a great chance for any of the Northern Guys eg
Sunshine Coast, Gympie,Hervey Bay etc to come along as they can cut across inland to meet up with us.

Hmmm nope I'll got to Biloela and then head home on Sunday 15th. Tony and I will be riding out to Longreach for our holidays because I have never been out there

Right where is this ride starting?? I live in Biloela and am always keen for a good ride(will even travel to the starting point of the journey just because). Let me know if I can be of any help to anyone and I will do my best to do what I can.

Hey thanks VNSVLE. Can you recommend a good place to stay the night and how about which way we should go home. We are actually starting in Brisbane, if you want to ride down you can bunk at our place. We intend to leave for Biloela on Saturday morning. Any help would be great. If you want to meet up some where along the way thats cool to you just say where

So the trip is from brisbane to biloela and back?? Which way are you coming up?? Coast or inland?? Also let me know approx numbers and I will see what I can find for accommodation for you. What type of accommodation do you want?? Motel, cabin, bunkhouse, camping(i would not recommend this option at that time of year though. It is already down to 10 degree's some mornings and it got to -5 last year). Let me know what the general consensus is and I will help the best I can.

Yup Brisbane to Biloela and Back. Im gonna say 5-6 but can confirm nearer the date. Probably motel with a pub/restaurant as husband likes to run around in his natural and its best for everyone if we keep that to ourselves lol. Going to come up inland I assume but I will PM you the exact route when everything is settled. Thanks again
