I am organising an overnight ride to Walhalla and thought I would open the offer to anyone interested from here.
This ride would be up to Walhalla which is on the foothills of Baw Baw. The town itself is really quaint, retaining it's original character from the Goldrush days.
Proposal is to ride up to our accomodation. The you can decide whether or not you want to go for a ride up Baw Baw or go into the town and have a look around.
I have made enquiries with Rawson Village and we can have a lodge all to ourselves. The lodge is a round type of building which has a internal campfire area. The price I will detail, will include, a two course dinner, accomodation, and breakfast. So in a nutshell, after our day of riding, we dont have to do anything, but relax at the restaurant, then adjourn to our own campfire area outside our bedrooms. We can also have BYO alcohol in the campfire area. The restaurant is licensed.
When: Leaving Saturday 4th of November - Returning Sunday 5th November
Cost: $55 per person for all accomodation, linen and towels provided, two course dinner and breakfast (3 room share)
$60 per person for twin room share
I will have to have an answer pretty much straight away to secure this lodge. If there are not enough numbers, we would have to review the accomodation from the lodge to the motel. I have also put a link to the resort so you can see how nice the place is.
