Micron GP Sport is here!!!

Micron pipes are here, took 1/2 hour to fit, and sound really really good.

Easy removable baffle at the rear held in with an allen bolt.
Totally different sound, really deep rumble, lots of bass!!!

With baffle in, as quiet as a stock one, with just a hint of burble!!

The youtube video really doesn't do them justice. Went to get a full on side picture but batteries in camera shit it self.

I would definately recommend these pipes, great sound, and improve the look of the bike from every angle!!

I'll post some more pics when i have them!!!

Busa Greavett Wrote:Any body know where I can get those sleek looking Micron GP sport pipes for a K8??

Website links or telephone numbers please.....preferably in Australia too!!!

Many thanks

Simon

If it's the short, black, tri-oval type your talking about, then I don't think they actually make them for the K8. The ones on my K7, ( as seen in the exhaust section) are made for the GSXR1000, and were custom fitted to my K7.

Link above gives you a list of suppliers as per state. Website is just, www.micronexhausts.com

Hope these help, Action-smiley-083

Who knows how much for the little GP pipe. Thinking of one for the Halfabusa (650)

Either that or it's Two Bros as they are the only ones that seem to have anything for the 650

I have been priced for a pair of black Micron GPs from my local shop and they are supposed to be in stock at the importers.
So I may have a pair in a week or two.
They are not my favourite shape but they match the shape of the rear end, are quality cans and look better than the stock barrells. The sound is terrific and I should lose about 8kgs in weight with about 5hp, 3 ft/lb torque gain with the stock ECU.
(Not that the bike needs any more get up and go)

My pipes arrived in the country on Friday. Had to pay the GST component as I didn't pay the VAT from the U.K.

So all up, delivered to my door will be almost spot on the $1500.00

Judging from what my parts friend at the dealer told me, that's a saving of $700 from the retail price.

I really didn't like the look of the pipe, and it's really hard to get an impression of the sound they'll make form You tube. Sounds a bit crap. But they've grown on me now. Not bothered about performance increase, or noise, just the look. Having said that, it's always a bonus if it gains power, loses weight and sounds a little bit badder!!!

I'll try to get chance to do my own Video when I get them fitted.
Got the black ones!!

Didn,t grab me when i saw them in the flesh. If they were titanium with a carbon end cap and purpled up after a dyno they,d be alright.the black paint is a bit uninventive.

I think she needs to raise her right leg about 6 inches.
