well yesterday on the way home as it was hitting about 38c+ I had a gixxer rider pull out on me. He was wearing the following:

Tank top, dress jeans that I thought might have been kevla atleast, puma low cut sneakers & thats it, while having some man bag drapped accross his back held on by one strap. (Helmet of course)

so yeah - this wanker pulled out on me - so we rock up at the lights & I just couldn't help myself, esp since I was wearing kevla jeans, Joe rocket textile jacket with armour & back protector, boots, gloves and of course helmet, so I yell out at him, "f*** dude, get a f*&^ing jacket!"

He goes "Oh - I have one, I am only going down the road." I reply "Yeah - thats when you get the skin grafts, going down the road... " so we take off, this happended on Jells & Furntree gully rd for those of us in Melbourne, he followed me up till Boronia RD & Stud road... just down the road my ass, he refused to pull up next to me after that.

The thing that gets me is not his skin or life, but that he makes us all look bad & costs us money when he ends up in TAC with skin grafting :/

Yeah Chris,
In almost any situation, it's the ones who don't do the right thing that whinge, bitch & complain when they get the raw end.

You can be sure these idiots will be the first to complain when the cost of bike insurance keeps getting higher & higher. And mostly they are the cause of it.

What's the answer, do we have to legislate the minimum clothing required to ride? This would only draw more attention from Mr PLOD because he mistakes my draggins' for levi's. Perhaps there could be a discount clause in insurance premiums if the correct riding gear is agreed to be worn. Idiot2

I'd say the aswer is being taught correctly in the first place & pier pressure.
When I first moved to Melb I was blown away seeing all the L platers riding around by themselves. Just blasting around doing what they wanted.
No wonder so many L & P plate riders have accidents. They're not required to have someone watching the L platers & so they don't learn correctly, which in turn creates bad riders.
That's a bad move. What gov idiot passed that one.....

Well, we now have the new ads, mainly because of all the scooter riders who ride with next-to-no gear on.
