Extra Plod
#1
Apparently according to the news there's to be an extra 400+ cops on the Gold Coast and Hinterland area for easter especially trying to catch speedsters, they're draggin em out of offices and from behind desks, wherever they can get em from. My question is this.... if you normally have 2 cops per car so they can hold each others hands if they get scared, where are the extra 200 (approx) plod cars coming from ???

Perhaps there are unmarked vehicles which are normally used by Corporate and Administration staff, Crime Prevention Co-ordinators, the commissioned officers, sworn/unsworn communications officers etc etc...

more likely that they will be hiring touring buses and droping cops off at every corner arming them with a radar gun and ticket book and not picking them up until they have made there quota

Last Christmas I drove from Melbourne to Brisbane.

From Melbourne to Goondawindy I saw 3 cop cars.

From Gundy to Brisbane I saw 10.

One stretch of road out in Hinterland they had a license check at one point and a few hundred meters round the corner and RBT. That was christmas. Most Sunday riders gave up from what I was told, turned round and went home
