Oil Supply To Turbo

Has anyone had to restrict oil flow to turbo,what psi should i be running.

Ball bearing turbo's are sensitive to excessive oil but plain bearing turbo's are sort of self limiting,
If your having problems with your t3 look first at the crankcase breather, is it pinched when closing the tank ?
2nd where exactly did you place the oil return ?
3rd if your using a rear stand..... don't....

Thanks Maj breather is ok but i might try a bigger filter.Return fitted on left of sump as per instructions,its above oil level & the hose has plenty of drop back to sump.thats my bike Busgo posted in Turbo thread.

Greg, is that rear stand statement for when the bike is running?

The gravity drain bikes can put the turbo below the oil level on the rear stand, not all but some will smoke . Mine does it idling down into the camping area at Phillip Island on the steep slope, 1st year i rode it down and there was a huge smoke trail, after a few smartass comments i learnt to turn it off at the top and roll down.

Grant yours has a scavenge pump and shouldn't be a problem.
Slowdown , i have seen one where the return was put on the nice square section on the sump and it sealed very well against the pickup tube not very good drainage on that one !.
