Pole position went to kiwi Athol Williams with a time of 6.562 as both he and local rider Leonard Azzopardi served it up to the established Nitro Harley stars.

The Legend broke a drive belt on the burnout in the semis, we felt for him as he was preped to go hard. arhh shit happens and next time he will kick some serious arse ,he looks hungry, good sign.... Trophy

Are you offering sponsorship for the trip costs????

It is a huge commitment for a self funded racer with travel costs and time off work etc.

I know he is busting to race at the Motorplex.

Thanks for coming out to watch fella's , good to look around after having a dummy spit and see all the uncomfortable looks !!!!Lol3

As Bruce has said , being self funded, you tend to get the most out of your gear and replacing a $400 drive belt to add it to the pile of "Not sure if I should use these or not" is a choice you make.

Thing is I was "going" to replace it on Sat morning, but after a leak down we found cyl 3 had 15% leakage, so we pulled down the engine and found the rings had lined up causing the leakage, we got caught up in the engine that I overlooked replacing the belt......you learn!!!

Anyway a couple of the 6 sec runs and a 6.60 from the Dec meet:

Thanks Ray (easyriders) for all your help and Oleon oil for keeping the beast running like clockwork!

bruce & leonard. i also am self funded. i'm sure you will have some big sponsors with times like that. will the borg bike for sale i'd be chasing ENZED.

hopefully next year you can make the trip or if funds permit i'll make a journey across the border.

Ian, I (and I'm sure Bruce) didn't mean to offend with the "self funded" remark, hope none was taken.Undecided

Ps. Simon (borgy) works for Enzed.
