No Louwai, All it means is that the government in QLD hasn't been in power long enough to jack the prices up to the same level as the other states.
Give them time and they will come to the party but I doubt that they will ever catch up to NSW when it comes to sucking the population dry.
"If time catches up with you. You're going too slow!"
Regards BUSGO
you bastard louwai !:aussie
although vic is the only state to have gov reg ctp you guys dont.you have too face a independent insurance company while we enjoy being able to know what we pay without the hassle of ringing around for a quote.and from experiance the tac rehab is a shit load better than you will get from a corporate insurance company.
rant done i'm off the soap box now
either way it's a rip off.

Us poor Vics have something the other states don't have.
We get to park on the footpaths.
Nah nah nah
never fly higher than your angel.
So are we the only state with insurance included automatically?
And yes, ours covers rider and pillion and anybody in / on / around any vehicle in an accident.

"levy is gone"?? you wouldnt have noticed it gone with current costs.
Copper/
Silver -
The original, the rest are just copies.
when did the levy go? or are they just hiding it cause my rego has gone up a bit for this year.
My bike and car are now roughly on a par - a few months ago, I believe. Both my regos were due in Jan.

There is one diff between Vic and NSW - don't know about the rest of the country - we only have to pay for our custom registration once - to buy the plate - after that, it's ours. I believe that in NSW the rego is higher every time if you have a custom plate, is that correct?
