Stopped at Roy's for a coffee, after the ride today.
Sitting down enjoying the Scenery along comes young couple.
They stop to admire my bike, no harm in that.
Next thing I see the guy grab the handle bar to help his girlfriend.
Who was starting to throw her leg over and hop on to my bike.
My adrenalin started pumping & my horns popped out.
She didn't get to finish throwing her leg over.
I yelled get your hands off, don't you dare throw your leg over the bike.
What do you think your doing, don't touch things that are not yours.
I was pretty annoyed at there casualness,

The boyfriend grabbed her and they got in there Boring Car and drove away.

What would you do people ?

I had a similar thing a while back. Some snotty nose kid was trying to climb all over GiddyUp bling machine and was leaving grubby little finger marks all over the chrome!

I told the "little darling" to beat it and leave the bike alone. When his (boring) father had a crack at me, I said next time his kid tried it he might leave skin behind because of the possiblity of a hot exhaust. He apologised..........

I handled it well IMHO. But I was really only shitty because the chrome was gleaming...

Bloody strangers - My 99 bike was at a show and shine two years ago when this dude starts admiring it. He had his missus and a baby in pram with him.
He says to his missus - jeez I love the look of this one.

She says, why don't you take it for a test ride?.

Years ago Tez i had a gsxr 750
I dropped into my old surf club for a drink & catch up
The bike was parked down stairs.
I'd forgotten something & went back to get it
When i get down to the bike same thing
A guys is holding the bike & a girl is sitting on it with her feet
on the handle bars
I lost it straight away they were on there way pretty quickly.

Same thing to me Tez outside of Roys a couple and there young child walked past vel and my bikes the kid was touching vels bike we nicely asked them to leave the bikes alone so of they went.
Then about 30 min later out of the corner i see this kid standing on my seat as his dad was helping him sit on the bike i gave the bloke a good blast as it was the same couple.
They only have to ask as i will always let the kids sit on my bike for a photo etc if they want but i will help them get on.

Was in the bank about a year ago, and a mother was trying to calm her over-active boy down while she waited for a teller. "If you behave yourself for a few more minutes, I'll let you sit on the motorbike outside" she said... Hmmm, "the cheek", I thought...

As I finished first I thought I would see what happened, and went and sat outside, sort of near the bike, but not next to it. When she came out with the kid, they went over to one of those little $2 ride on motorbikes, and she put the kid on it...

Glad I didn't say anything in the bank!

I know where you r coming from! but I dont worry about things like that, got me self a top of the line alarm system installed any1 go near it or touch it it ll go off and give em hell and they just fark off.

How rude jumping on people's bike! I dont even really do it in bike shows even thought they are there to touch and see let alone jumping on people's bike.

When you're as ugly as Mrs Smith's little snoozer all I have to do is look at anyone even thinking about it and they move along.
Mind you at the last GP I went out of the pub at San Remo to get some fresh air and check on the bike while I rang my main girl to say "hello". There were two geezers talking their waY around the bling on my black and grey so I just stood right back and continued my conversation with my wife. Eventually one of them took a hold of the left handle bar end with his left hand, whether he was about to swing the leg of just have a tugg at the bar end I don't know. I spoke out reasonably loudly as neither had noticed me, and advised them hat the handle bar end was a 38 Caliber cylinder. Both jumped about the expected height while suffering from a severe case of whip-lash getting their heads around to where this rather loud voice had issued from. The hand let go and the leg never started to ascend. had a nice chat with both blokes, older Trumpet riders. Bet they look around a bit next time.

I like the alarm idea, switch it on and scare the living daylights out of them.
Louwai has an alarm and automatic start on his Busa.

I seen him start the bike up at Roy's, people are not expecting it.
I've seen them almost jump out of there skin

yup the Scorpio alarm can be set off from where your sitting having coffee by remote, you can give it a flash alarm just to warn away undesirables. do that when theyre couched over looking into the speedo, heart attack material.

Yep, mine's a Mongoose, same as Busa Rod's.
Can remotely sound the alarm or silently flash the indicators, or start the bike.
One night I was having a business dinner at The Young & Jackson. I specifically asked for a window seat so I could watch the bike.
The bike was parked over in front of the SBS building about 250m away at Fed Square.
Couple of guys were hanging around the bikes. (several parked there). Each time they got within 1m of my bike I remotely flashed the indicator lights.
After about 15mins these guys must have figured that it's just a silent alarm so they moved in closer.
I then flicked it off silent & pushed the button again. Noise & flashing lights.
They buggered off pretty quick.

Are you gunna put an alarm on the new one Tez???
Check with your insurance co. They usually list all types of alarms on which they give a discount.

What alarms are people using and where did you get them? Yet to have someone throw a leg over (that I know of) but given some *#)@* tried to steal one of my bikes a month and a bit ago wouldn't mind putting something a little better in place than what I've got now.

Some members are using the scorpion wich can be fitted by your self as they plug in to your factory plugs someone correct me if im wrong there my self and some others have the mongoose wich like bryan said can be remote start to your bike but needs to be hard wired so if you dont no much about electrical you would need it fited both alarms around the $500-$600 mark
