good question I thought about that myself whether to prune the list by deleting them. But what gains are there? all it will do is reduce the signed up members I reckon.

Are they still a member if they have not posted for 2-3 yrs and others who are gone to another land and those that have sold there bike and ride no other. Anyway its up to u.

i dont think the number of signed up members matters, whats important is the input, there will always be a few agitators, if members dont login or contribute then let them go , although some probably cant be here as regular as some.

I don't think this site has been live for 1 year yet has it?

I also don't think we need to trim. I belong to at least 5 other bike sites but only visit them on rare occassions. I wouldn't like to be deleted just for not being a regular.

It was something i sugested when this forum started that members that joined up had a peek for 5min then never return to site . After a period of 12 months they could be deleted to keep a more acurate number of members but lets wait to the 1st year is up and go from there.

Now are u saying busgo that all these members signed up in the last 12 mths or did u forget that they were transfered over form the old site???????????

everyone had to sign up at start so none of current members are transfers. all transfer (old) nics appear in bold black. so yes they all signed up since march.

having thought about it, one shouldnt delete them as one registers in order to be able to do a search and a few other things that you cant do if not registered. so many of them may just be lurkers. either way its no diff or harm to leave them there.
