Brisbane ride 18th 19th March
#1
At last we have settled on the above dates for the next Brissy ride.
Meeting points:
BP servo at Burpengarry on the Bruce Hwg. just before the Caboolture / Bribie Is turnoff at 0900 for 0915 departure.

The bakery in the main street of Woodford 0930 for 0945 departure.

If the south siders want to arrange a meeting point on that side go for it.

Accomodation:
Burnett hotel Gayndah $30 per night double room.
$20 per night single room
All rooms carpeted and airconditioned.
Phone 41611801

Alternatively Grand hotel Gayndah. Directly opposite the Burnett hotel. A little more expensive at:
$44 per night double room
$28 per night single room.
Phone 41611200

If you want to camp there is space on the river bank down from the Burnett hotel and anyone is welcome to pitch a tent or roll out the swag.

We are trying to organize some entertainment for the Sat night..........think jelly wrestling.

Please ring the hotels to arrange your own accomodation but dont forget to tell them that you are with the Hayabusa club.
Also let me know on this forum or PM or mobile 0438189761

Guy's,

I spoke with the pub, and they have been told by council that we are not able to camp behind the pub, so if you were intending to camp, you will need to stay at the caravan park down the road.

Oh. OK that's a different story to the one I got.
The caravan park / camp ground is only about 500 metres from both pubs. Well within walking distance and has clean facilities. Rosie and I stayed there last Sept.
It is certainly another option. Regards

As the date for the Gayndah ride draws closer I have received confirmations from:

Chopper & Rosie
Cowboy & Dellis
Brent
Troy & Jeff (are they a couple now?)
Buzzard and hopefully his Cheese and kisses.

Now if that lot is not the beginning of a dam fine weekend, I don't know what is.
There is plenty of room for more riders so c'mon join in and avagoodweekend.

Regards
Chopper
