Hello all, short story then the issue. I bought an 07 Busa last wednesday. It was a federal seizure, the guy that had it before moe bought it last December, had it for four months before the marshals confiscated it. The dealer I bought it from has had it since June. The bike has a power commander III, full Yoshi pipes, air shifter and gas. The bike had less then 800 miles when I got it. I have rode over 300 miles since then, no issues. I went to get on it this morning and the FI light came on as I was trying to start it. The bike would roll over but not actually start. Any ideas?
When you start the bike it comes on and goes off when its running .
so as you are turning it over you would have seen the light.
It may no be a FI issue it may be battery etc , only be concerned with what I have read if the light stays on when the bike is running .
did you roll start the bike to get it going ?
if not try it , and if the FI light stays on then you may need to get it looked at
Go to downloads section as there is a downloadable service manual which will tell you more .
anyway thats all the info I can pass on to you the others on here will have more experiance and knowledge than I so pick there brains .
The bike will not start now. I rode til late last night, went to start it today and now the FI light comes on and wont start. It will turn over but will not fire.
The power commander was not plugged up when I bought the bike. I plugged the expansion port up last night and then had these issues today. I unplugged the PC at lunch and the bike fired right away.

Sorry about my rude reply jmalin..
Welcome to the club by the way.
Yeah you should get the bike sorted at a dyno shop and live happily ever after (SUBJECT to self control on the throttle).
