Meeting at Laverton Shell Servo at 9am this Sunday for GOR Ride. Up to Lavers Hill.

The servo you speak of DJ is not the laverton one,it is the todd rd one,on the left hand side before you go over the bridge.

Ride Number Five
Date: Sunday 30th July Time: 9.00am - 3 .30pm (Approx) Meeting Point: Shell servo on Todd Rd (Left hand side before Westgate Bridge traveling towards Geelong) Route: To Geelong then on to the Great Ocean Road, stopping at Cape Patton Lookout and then on to Lavers Hill for a bite and coffee. Map: None required Weather: Ride cancelled if raining or high possibility of rain Notes: GOR is 80kph at the start, be aware that the road is heavily policed. Enjoy the corners but watch the straights! A Few Guidelines: Have a full tank of fuel and be on time. Wear the right gear. No overtaking on corners. Make sure others are aware of YOU. Ride within YOUR limits. It ain't a race, we want to be back next week. All bikes welcome. Email also sent out... it would be a lot easier to ignore those restrictions if there weren't cameras every 50mtrs or so down the geelong road
