OK lets talk "Con Job" for a second.
I haven't asked anyone here for anything although the poster thing,,, well lets talk about that.
M Father owns Portrait studio and of course you know the drill "Daddy's Little Princess" has been in front of the camera most of my life. I'm not really that impressed with me. Unfortunately my husband and my Father think I'm the queen of the world. The whole poster thing was their grand idea pretty much against my better judgement but they would NOT take no for an answer. The result? Pretty embarrassing to be sure I sold not one single poster gave some away to my Sponsors and constantly get teased on another board about "Selling posters" all in all a monumentally bad idea.
Thanking everyone for support.
IF theres anything I really hate its RockStars MovieStar that claw their way to the top then cry because they have no privacy! Get real you climbed up here no you want to cry because people are scrutinizing you?
I have spent a solid year making my racing efforts very public, as such I would expect very little privacy where racing is concerned. I currently have over 55,000 views on 11 or 12 Forum boards when those readers are following you for a solid year and you just drop the ball and disappear, I feel an explanation is owed.
Sympathy? nope not looking for it. Drama? nope I have an 18yr old in my house I have plenty of it.
So what happened? I panicked and ran away from everything, Family, My Husband, Racing, even my best friend.
SRAD( my Husband/Crew Chief) was left standing in the street with a stupid look on his face and a broken heart. A RaceBike with no Rider and alot of questions. He did the only thing he knew to do 2 weeks before the big Race. Notify everyone that I wasn't coming but the HeavyBus was. A pretty responsible thing for a man who just lost his Wife. By the time I realized I had lashed out at the one person in my life that was NOT causing me drama and pain it was almost too late. Another Rider was lined up, as was a Divorce Lawyer. We mended our problems and have gotten back to us again, and thats the most important thing. But I feel as though I have let down fans and readers.
OK let me take a second to point some things out from 1 year ago.
When I started out with the Idea to go Land Speed Racing I thought you could just gear a Busa bypass the top speed restriction and go 200mph!
So I started this out with a few basic goals
#1 Go race and have some safe fast fun
#2 Show other interested Readers what it would take for them to go LSR with their own bikes(Get real theres not really an "Idiots Guide to LSR")
This included taking the time to do step by step photos along each step of the way go home upload said photos from the camera to the computer clean and crop them store them in folders them upload them to Photobucket then type up the individual post attach the photobucket links. really in most cases the pix and computer time took more than the install! Now figure that time X 11 or 12 Forum Boards.
#3 Promote Women in Motor Sports and Motorcycling and provide a positive Role Model for Women either riding interested in riding or Racing.
#4 Have you ever seen "On Any Sunday"?
Man that stuff is cool solid Motorcycle dream stuff, I always thought it was cool to go along for the ride watch the behind the scenes stuff. You want the truth? I wish I could make a movie that was 1/2 On AnySunday and 1/2 The Worlds Fastest Indian. Can't afford it no way no how. So I thought it would be cool to take everyone along on the ride give everyone a chance to watch the behind the scenes stuff.
#5 Oh almost forgot, I wanted to be the first Woman to go 200MPH at the Texas Mile NA no turbo no NO2. So much for that dream.

Now other faster Women,,,
Get real! #1 If you want to talk about Leslie Porterfield, she is a friend of mine, a great Racer, a successful Businesswoman, and an Inspiration to me and everyone
Me and Leslie

Trust me I'll never be the fastest out there because I'm not rich and even though I have Sponsor's LSR is ex$Pen$ive.
Lets talk SPONSORS
I spent around $7000 US for my Hayabusa(used low mileage) I bought it for my Husband to travel out of town on because his RC51 was to much for 1000 mile trips. He had the Busa 2 months before it became "My RaceBike" so we have a $7000 toy that really never see's much ridetime except the track. Thats alot of $$$ for us! My Sponsors have invested close to $12,000 US in HeavyBusRacing. Almost double what we invested in the bike. We have spent on average around $1500 US per Race weekend. So as you can see speed isn't cheap!
Why did I get the Sponsors?
I have a small but positive racing Resume including an SuperSport Endurance RoadRacing Championship, Promoting Annual Charity Bike Shows, Promoting the largest SportBike Rally in Texas and a few years working in the Motorcycle Industry.
Oh yeah and I'm a WOMAN! YEPPERS I have blonde hair a big chest and brown eyes. Yes Woman Racer attract attention and attention attracts sponsors.
Wrap up
Yes I race yes I work on the Bike No I NOT the fastest, prettiest, richest, or coolest.
I am however the ONLY and I want to repeat this
THE ONLY ONE out here that takes the time to share each and every mod and what it takes to post pictures and share videos. I have put as much time right here sitting and typing as I have spent wrenching on my bike.
For What!?
So you and everyone else can come along and enjoy the ride, watch the show.
When I made MY mistake and panicked I was big enough to own it and apologize to those watching and reading. There were so many Emails and IM's that I thought my computer would gag! So to those people that were concerned,, thanks for your support!
My strong advice to you is shut up and get typing! oh and you better take lots of pictures and start going fast because sponsors are not going to give you anything if your not out here being a part of the scene!
Represent share inspire mentor teach help,,,,
OR SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP!
