No reward, nothing. Like turning off the tv, but no standby.

ermm yea but when the TV is off does it know its off? like if the believer is wrong then he will know exactly as much as the non believer which is nothing, I'll keep my options open lol.

A cemetery full of ehadstones. Some of the headstone read - "RIP", "Till the Sun Rises in the morn", "Resting", and another "As the Sun sets" - still another "Dead".

I think that sums it up!Egyptian

Then you will know you are not that which you see in the mirror, ie your body alone. The body is but the coat one wears to exist in this dimension. When old and withered it is dicarded as an old coat. The real you is that which animates the body. But it is ones ego that dominates (the persona created in this life), the other is pretty dormant. Often resulting in the internal battle of wills controlling the body.

If within the existance of the Universe spanning billions of years with millions of various forms of civilisations. If the sum total of ones life is to: Eat, Shit, Piss, F*ck and then die, if you ask me its one hellova joke on man as one big f*cking waste of time.

Is there life after death? Simple really, either only 2 possibilities exist:

1. You die and find you still exist in some form. (Etheric)

2. You die and theres nothing there - you wont even know your dead.

So the question you have to ask yourself, ok on number 2, but frakk what if its number 1?

Interesting thoughts Volvi, many years ago a mate gave me a book called Illusions by Richard Bach the same author off Jonathan Livingston Seagull.

Itâ€s a short read and one I would highly recommend, basically the idea is we are all living out a type of artificial life thatâ€s hidden from us as part of the experience.

These lives are a sort of entertainment that we direct as we go along, moving from one event to another until the final scene when the game ends.

Really itâ€s another, “We are what we think” type parables but still a good read with the first part hand written as a journal which sets the scene for the story.

I have left a lot of the really good bits of the book out so as not to taint the experience and hopefully given enough away to catch your interest, happy reading

My mom work for 35 years as a nurse and began her career in Geriatrics or Aged Care which is its new politically correct name and like your self have heard so many stories, to many to post, that any reasonable person would be wise to set aside some consideration for the afterlife.

I personally have never experience any kind of supernatural experience though nearly all my closest family have.

I donâ€t know why though I do feel a bit left out as I could think of nothing better than to finally see and confront the dead for some serious question answer time, maybe that the reason they keep awayWtf

Sorry cheeky, back to the point, If the stories I have heard of had come from anywhere else I wouldnâ€t have given them much credit but there a bit hard to ignore when the source is so close to home.

As one of my favourite poets Alexei Sayle once said “Itâ€s a funny old world” and it is, so much we donâ€t know and take for granted.

Anyway, Iâ€d like to share one of my own favourite saying “Anyone who says they have found the answer to the meaning of life has usually misunderstood the question”Coolsmiley

Kindest Regards

The harlot my father ran away from home with died on the table while they were cutting cancer out of her plumbing. She said she became aware of her face touching something. She realised it was the ceiling in the operating theatre. She rolled over and saw the surgeon working frantically to revive her on the table.

Then she did the rushing tunnel towards the light thing where she was suddenly sitting beside "Him" - he was pure light and pleasant to look at. He told her she had things to do, that he would call her again later. He didn't call her back again for another 27 years.

She woke up in the recovery ward and immediately told Dad she had seen "Him".

I despised that harlot as the woman who had broken my family up when I was a teenager. Hate is a small word compared to the dislike I had for her. However I have no reason to disbelieve her. Prior to her operation she had no faith or God love/devotion or anything like that. Afterwards she was a changed woman in many ways.

On the other hand while Packer was clinically dead after his first major heart atack he said he experienced nothing - nothing at all.

In the end I love the sage old saying

"No One Gets Out Alive"
