If they put more metal in, demand it's titanium (less weight), or chrome (more bling). Tell 'em the Busa Club said so...

Get well mate.

That is a great idea, Ian if you are well enough it would be great to see you there.

No pressure bud but if we ride all the way across Australia and dont see you there - there will be repercussions.

Wish you the Best Recovery, but have you really thought about your predicament, and the possible reasons? You were obviously in the line of fire! By a fuckin 4 wheel drive. What gives here? a scooter next?
The Road and Highways belong to Everyone, even cyclists and pedestrians. We need to be aware of the risk, and implement self imposed rules, as to various state of mind. Be it rushing, frustration, fatigue or just plain complacency. Let,s be honest and stop all this bullshit (rub your tummy)., sympathy shit.
I feel, we, as Busa owners have reached the peak in the awesome performance of our machines.
Lets match that with our awesome awareness of what we will encounter!

Cheers for recovery wishes. Finally bones are starting to knit.

Watch out for 4wd's Dennis, their bigger than scooters and xv1100's on Nos!

Take extreme caution if you've got any open wounds to your bones, lest you end up like me with an invincible permanent resident bacteria in your bones.

Congratulations REVIT13, you're alive. Clap

Reads like a lot of past, present & future "Pain & Suffering" to me.

I know nothing about the WA Legislation, I just hope you have good legal help. Give that Insurance Company ZERO DISCOUNTS.
Remember, it is not about mediation or negotiation or any of their crappy "discount" words they'll come out with. Get every cent you are legally entitled to, & if your 1st lawyer doesn't tell you what it is, sack em & get one who can.
I hope you get better, but, unfortunately, you'll never be 100%.
Good luck with it all. Insurance company defence lawyers love reading Motorcycle forumsWelcome
