Well, I can't make the convention this year, there were some complications with my surgery and it looks like I'll unable to ride for about 6 months or so.. ---------------------------------

Nah, reason I won't be riding for a bit is that when they pulled the femoral nail out it left a few new fractures behind on the inside of my femur. I can walk sort of already, but for the next 6 months or so any nasty shock in the wrong spot could break my leg again. I've been told that even jogging could cause problems, so, much as I'd like to get back on the bike it just isn't worth it for a bit. I could ride myself down and behave myself, but I can't control other road users or road hazards, pillioning would be just as risky ---------------------------------
