yeah its not cool coming down, but good luck ohzone with the recovery and as you can see there are plenty of busa riders out there to wish you well and support you in the healing process.
What a great club. Personally i feel that even though i don't know everyone in this club or even have met many of the other members, i feel there is this unspoken bond, comradery if you will, amongst us members. I am proud to call myself a member of this club.

cheers

So sad to read this, if I hadn't stuffed up my track day, I may well have been along for the ride.
Wish him the very best from Sue and I.

Hello fellow club members.
I have an update on Ohzone's condition
Currently he is in Royal Perth.
He has sustained:-
Ten broken ribs,
he has fractured 5 vertebrae in his back,
he has two fractured vertebae in his neck,
he has broken his collar bone,
he has two punctured lungs,
now developing some blood clots.
we are looking at surgury on his spine in the next couple of days.

He is supported by family and friends.
It will be a slow road back on his feet but it is positive news so far from the doctors in that there is no spinal cord damage.
I will keep you all posted on any further developments.

Thank you all again for your support

Thanks for the update Con.
Let me know via email when he can have visitors. I'm sure there's a heap of us in WA who will provide moral support while he recovers.
Great news about the spinal cord. Broken bones will heal eventually.

I pass on my wishes for OhzOne to get better too. My thoughts are what everyone else has already typed.

I too suffered a similiar accident with back & rib injuries to the extent Ohz has, so I can vouch 1st hand to the pain and fustration he his going thru, stuck there helpless wondering how long he will be laying there.... and maybe when he gets back on 2 wheels again - dreams are the best thing when you are lying there - never let anyone take that away from you - because that's what spurs you on to a full recovery, in a sppedy time !!!!

Best wishes Mate. Keep us posted. You can never have too many friends visit you too - laughter is the best medicine.... especially when they pick on you, while your down & out - Bastards !!!!

You'll be out soon OhzOne. Cheers

There were three of us riding Andcad, Ohzone and I, We commenced the run along a twisty section of a country road. I lost site of Ohz and before i knew it i seen Andcad coming back the other way. There were skid marks on the road but its hard to interprete what happened the road was free of gravel and the weather was fine. It looks like the rear tyre locked up and it seems the bike high sided Brian. I don't believe it was rider error as Brian is a very capable rider.
It was either a mechanical fault or possibly even a flat tyre.
I guess we will never know as Brian has no recollection of it !! Every ten seconds, somewhere on this earth, there is a woman giving birth to a child. She must be found and stopped

Oh Evil one, seems like a hard one to work out. Were the skid marks on a bend?
Some how I need to get the WA guys at Wanaroo eh? Even if it's a mech problem, at least there's no trees.
